CHAOS Lacrosse

UPDATE: April 7th, 2020

We all very disappointed about the abrupt cancelation of the lacrosse season, but the good news is that we still hope to have summer lacrosse!

The Chaos Lacrosse Summer Program is changing due to COVID -19.

Our program will be changing to 1 tournament only in July, with local Bootcamp by NCAA D2-D3 Coaches in July.

Texas Draw Tornament and Showcase has been moved to July 18-19th in Dallas Texas.

Practice will start in mid June- DATE TBD based on COVID 19 state mandates for heath safety.  Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 and Saturday 10 am-1 pm at Natural Steps.

We will be doing “virtual try-outs”. You will sign up on the Chaos Registration. The coaches will be talking with your current team coach and reviewing film to determine rosters.

Boys and Girls Eligible Players for Chaos:  Rising 9th- 2020 graduated Seniors are eligible to play in this summer’s tournaments!

REGISTRATION IS OPEN now thru Sat April 11th. Team Rosters will be announced Monday April 13th.

Cost is $225 per player

Little Rock Lacrosse has a new website provider. When you click the registration button, you will choose: “Login” and “Create New Account”. Create a parent account, then register your player. Choose the program “2020 girls HS Chaos Summer Program”.

Because this is such a unique situation due to COVID-19, we will ask everyone to understand that we are very hopeful for summer lacrosse, but this pandemic is very serious and we will cancel the program at any time based on CDC heath guidelines, and state COVID-19 guidelines. We will be offering refunds IF the tournaments are cancelled. This will be fully outlined to players that are chosen for CHAOS AR Teams.

We hope everyone remains healthy and well during theses difficult times, and express our gratitude for all our healthcare workers and families.

Central Arkansas Lacrosse Players and Families,

I hope you’re all doing well gearing up for the spring 2020 season. It’s going to be a great inaugural season for Natural State Lacrosse. With that said, it may seem early but it’s also time to start thinking about the summer. CHAOS Arkansas has exciting plans for 2020.

If you are new to the sport or are unfamiliar with our team, we are the elite travel program for players from all Central Arkansas high school teams. Our coaching staff is made up entirely of coaches who played NCAA lacrosse and have gone through the recruiting process. Personally, I bring to the table 11 years of coaching experience of everything from 3rd grade through varsity travel teams in California and Arkansas. Patrick Rogers, Head Coach at Episcopal Collegiate, and Tyler Oliver, Assistant Coach at Catholic High, are returning on staff as well this year. We are here to help you elevate your skills and lacrosse knowledge so that you can return to your High School program a better player. For those of you who may be interested in playing in college, we will be taking you to play in front of college coaches. We will meet with you and your parents to put a strategy in place to help you make your goals possible.

And this year, we are taking it one step further. Through our coaching relationships, we have multiple college coaches from NAIA through NCAA DII committed to coming down and guest coach our team this year with a few more pending. Our guest DII coach will even be coming down to host a 2-day skill development weekend. I can’t think of anything better than having a college head coach personally involved in taking your individual skills to the next level in a small group setting. And what better way can you as a player imagine seeing what a college coach would actually be like than to have him coach you for a practice?

As a program, our primary focus is on your individual development. We believe as a coaching staff that if we can elevate every individual on our team and give them new tools for their toolbox, our team and region will be stronger for it. We will teach you to play faster, harder, and smarter. We will teach you how to play in college style offenses and defenses. And, you will teach each other. One of the reasons why I always loved playing with my travel team back in the day, was that I got to play with players with different skill sets who had been taught by different coaches. That made me a better player. It teaches you to react to different situations, to see different opportunities on the field, to try new things out.

This summer, we will be playing in 2 tournaments: Texas Draw in Plano, TX on June 6th-7th and the BBQ Town Showdown in Overland Park, KS on June 26th-27th. Both of these events will allow you to showcase your talents against top players from other regions in front of college coaches.
